What: In a recent interview with BBC Asian Network, Kartik Aaryan finally addressed the underwhelming box office performance of his film “Shehzada,” which was released earlier this year. The movie was the official Hindi remake of the Telugu film “Ala Vaikunthapurramloo,” starring Allu Arjun.
Furthermore: During the interview in London, Kartik Aaryan expressed his realization that he will not opt for remake films in his career anymore. He admitted that while filming “Shehzada,” he didn’t initially grasp the significance of doing a remake, but later on, he understood that people might not be keen on watching the same story again after having already seen the original.
We say: We agree! Who on earth will watch a film twice? …More so if the OG film was that good, obviously, most people would have watched it. So who on earth would watch a frame by frame copy of the same?
