What: Veeran, a Tamil superhero film starring Hip Hop Tamizha in the lead role, has hit the big screens recently. ARK Saravan has directed it. As soon as its trailer dropped online, many started to opine that it was a remake of Malayalam’s first superhero film Minnal Murali. Later the team clarified that Veeran isn’t a remake but a new film.
Furthermore: Veeran completed its theatrical run and is now set to make its OTT debut. Digital platform Prime Video has announced that Veeran will be available for streaming from June 30 in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.
We say: It will be fun to watch it on the OTT platform. Just so the makers know… we can’t keep calm.
