During the grand premiere of Bigg Boss OTT 2, Aaliya Siddiqui, the estranged wife of actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, made her entry as the eighth contestant. On the show, Aaliya revealed that it was Nawazuddin who encouraged her to participate in Bigg Boss OTT 2 and focus on her career. She mentioned that Nawazuddin had taken their children to Paris for one and a half months, and she saw this reality show as an opportunity to restart and reshape her career while creating her own identity.
Aaliya addressed a question from the panelists about her previous social media post against Nawazuddin, explaining that after 19 years together, she had kept her thoughts buried, and it was only after speaking up that she started receiving the respect from him that she had been longing for.
Notably, Aaliya had recently hinted at having found love again by sharing a picture of herself with a mystery man on Instagram.
Nawazuddin and Aaliya got married in 2010 and have two children together. Aaliya is Nawazuddin’s second wife, and she had previously stated that they had been separated for the past 4-5 years.
