The ongoing feud between Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal and the show’s creators, including Producer Asit Modi, Project Head Sohail Ramani, and Executive Producer Jatin Bajaj, has been escalating. In the interview with pinkvilla, Jennifer fearlessly spoke about her own experiences, including the sexual harassment case she filed against Asit Modi, conflicts on the set, and colleagues speaking against her. She has decided to raise her voice against the mistreatment she faced from the show’s makers in recent years.
Jennifer became emotional as she recalled the period of her young brother’s passing and expressed that it was the strength from the souls of her brother, Monika Bhadoriya’s mother, and Ghanashyam Nayak (Nattu Kaka) that empowered her to speak up against the misconduct of the Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah makers. She revealed, “Even Nattu Kaka was harassed.”
Ghanashyam Nayak was a beloved actor on the show, having been a part of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah since its inception. After his tragic demise, Kiran Bhatt took on the pivotal role.
In a previous interview, Monika Bhadoriya had also disclosed that Ghanashyam Nayak (Nattu Kaka) faced harassment on the set of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. She mentioned that Sohail even verbally abused Ghanashyam Nayak and revealed that the artists were treated poorly on set. Monika fought for her payment for over a year, as the makers had withheld payments from several former actors to torment them. She also mentioned that Raj Anadkat (who played Tapu) and Gurucharan Singh (who played Roshan Singh Sodhi) have yet to receive their payments.
Regarding Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal herself, she abruptly left Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah after being associated with the show for almost 15 years.
