What: Director-producer Farhan Akhtar announced the third instalment of his popular Don franchise with Ranveer Singh. Arjun Rampal, who played the role of Jasjit Ahuja in the first reboot of Don, The Chase Begins (2006) has reacted to Ranveer Singh taking ahead the franchise.
Furthermore: While speaking to Zoom Entertainment, Arjun compared the Don with popular Hollywood franchises Bourne Ultimatum and James Bond, and showed trust in Ranveer Singh by calling him a ‘fantastic actor’. Arjun said, “I think it’s good. It is like when you do a Bourne Ultimatum, or a Bourne Identity or a James Bond (film). Don’s that kind of a franchise. So, the mantle’s being put onto Ranveer’s shoulders. I think he is a fantastic actor and I think he will give it his best shot. So, I wish him all the best.”
