What: Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer’, which released on August 10, has gone on to become a huge hit. Helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the film is aiming to reach the Rs 700-crore mark globally. Amid the film’s success, Sun Pictures head Kalanithi Maran gifted Rajinikanth a share from the profits earned from the film, along with a brand new BMW X7. He also gifted a cheque to Nelson.
Furthermore: And now, the Twitter handle of Sun Pictures dropped a photo, which had Maran gifting composer Anirudh Ravichander a cheque. Sharing the same, Sun Pictures Twitter handle mentioned, “Mr Kalanithi Maran congratulated @anirudhofficial and handed over a cheque, celebrating the mammoth success of #Jailer #JailerSuccessCelebrations (sic).”
